SalmonEyes_MissouriBar_0707.jpgThe MKWC Fisheries Program works with tribal, local, federal and state partners to identify, prioritize, plan, fund, implement and monitor fisheries habitat restoration projects on over 70 anadromous tributaries to the Klamath River between Iron Gate Dam and the mouth of the Trinity. Restoration efforts have succeeded through close working relationships with landowners to implement projects informed by ongoing Klamath River fish ecology studies. We also strive to document the underwater world in the Klamath and it's tributaries; to connect people with these charismatic fishes and the habitats on which they depend.
