MKWC Summer Youth Program

The Mid Klamath Watershed Council along with the Karuk Tribe, Salmon River Restoration Council, Orleans and Junction Elementary Schools, and Six Rivers National Forest is developing a summer youth program to provide opportunities for local youth to participate in hands-on restoration of the resources upon which our communities depend and gain valuable skills in leadership, teamwork, wilderness survival, and cultural and environmental studies. Through this project, youth will serve their local community while receiving skill development and exposure to local career choices. We are looking for local volunteers who have recreational activities/skills or volunteer time to offer to this program. If you are interested in participating please contact the MKWC office at 530.627.3202.
