Since 2001, the Mid Klamath Watershed Council has been working to involve

the communities of the Middle Klamath (from Weitchpec to Hornbrook) and partner organizations in the collaborative restoration of our upslope and fisheries resources. We have grown from a completely volunteer program to a non-profit business that employed 28 local people and contracted with 28 local businesses in 2010.

Creek mouth restoration work

People living along the river (and those that are connected to it in some way) continue to support us by volunteering to implement restoration projects, sending in donations, and attending events at the Panamnik Building. This grassroots support is the foundation upon which all our work is based.

We are launching a new membership program to give our supporters another way to help us continue this important work and show how many folks care about restoring the lands and communities of the Middle Klamath. Please consider becoming a member at whatever level you can afford.
